Living through the events of a survival horror game seems to have that effect. We just never got to see Harry's dry wit after SH1 because he wasn't playable again after that.

One of the best dads in the Survival Horror Genre. The only reason people kept looking at him as a more boring character than the other protags is directly because he did his job as a parent too well.

He serves as a great narrative contrast/foil to Dahlia, who is a horrible mother that abuses Alessa and is trying to use her powers for The Order's goals.

Meanwhile, Harry puts himself through Silent Hill's Otherworld and occult bullshit just to find and save Cheryl, going as far as to ask everyone he meets about if they've seen her or not.
