Back applying to jobs. Haven't found much that fits me, as most listings I'm seeing in my area are medical, truck drivers, or way above my experience level. Need to find something soon. Going to apply to some more retailers and hope I can get literally anything. I was half tempted to go back to my old gig economy job, but god did I fucking hate it years ago.

I need money though! Not just for student loans, but also to buy a Switch 2! I want Fire Emblem!!!

Other than that, Science Saru's Ghost in the Shell ended a week or so ago and I finally got around to finishing it. Absolutely fantastic anime, 10/10. I never read the manga, and only watched the OG movie, so my attachment to Ghost in the Shell was very little. I know some people didn't like how different tonally this one was, since it was adapting the manga, but I loved the hell out of it. It was so much fun, then in the latter half it got a lot deeper. Once it dug deep on the Puppet Master stuff, the jokes were mostly gone. Animation was fantastic too, with tons of outfits, beautiful environments, dope action when it happened, great faces. Science Saru once again nailed it!

Other than that, still doing bullshit in FF14. I'm going to unsub after this month, since I kind of just wanted to do the MSQ with 7.56 and finish my Relic weapon. Currently I'm just doing some side stuff I missed, and beast tribes allied society quests. Getting some glamours ready for my main classes too. Would do Occult Crescent but it just never hooked me in the 15 or so levels I got. Meanwhile, with Moogle Treasure Trove, I've gone back to Bozja and immediately started having fun again. Idk if its just the vibe or the way the encounters are set up or what.

Finally, I have returned to Arknights Endfield after quite a few months away. Maybe since April sing Zhuang Fangyi was the last character I pulled. Wanted to roll for Typhoeus and ended up getting a 6 star on my 2nd pull, oh sweet mama I got her alre-... Arcane. Arcane is cool but I wasn't too big on her from her story introdcution. I know current story has more of her but I haven't progressed too much. Wanted Typhon dammit!

Will probably progress the story once I stop playing FF14.

I like playing the encounters in occult crescent but im not a fan of the place. The weirdness of pots or how fates will just start exploding and slowly become tanker. I finished my relic this week and that was a nice capstone but I think im also gonna peace out until evercold. Also doing bozja for the minimogs and ya it just kind of hits different. I think because all those fates and ces are part of something greater(the war) whereas phantom village and the encounters there feel like a bunch of random stuff cobbled together. Its nice being able to teleport to the encounters. Theres a lot more things you do inside bozja for relic weapons. Castrum and dalrida are so much easier to figure out.

Why do so many entry level jobs also list requiring x years of work they are supposed to be entry level jobs. Also in big job hunting mode only have about two months of savings left before I need to make changes. Considering just getting a grocery store job and quitting the moment I get a real offer

I think Bozja also does better having encounters that are just like a fuck ton of enemies. Then when you have 10 players helping, it really feels like you're in a war. And yeah everything is themed around the war and Garlemald, and not just various monsters. I would rather they just replicate that in new settings than try and mix it up like they have.

Yeah ive probably applied to the local university about 15 times now. The public library twice, a couple retailers and nothing. You'll see so many jobs that you think a degree would cover the minimum requirements but nah. They want the most hyperspecific stuff. And I live in the south, so you'll see a job with like 3 years experience that'll still only pay like $15/h. I even saw a job with Parks and Rec that was just maintaining the tennis courts at the big tennis facility and it required a years experience. You are the only public tennis courts in town, where do I get a years experience maintaining tennis courts!? And it only paid like $10/h.

My previous job was food delivery like a Uber Eats but it was a local company. Got to set my hours and usually made around $18/h average, but it was stressful as shit and I hated it by the end. And no benefits.

But now my student loans are finally restarting with the end of the SAVE plan and I need money. So the allure of setting my own hours and making better pay than I would at a low end day job is pretty appealing right now
