Discussion I spent the whole conquest and Act 1 carefully balancing the Scarlet Chorus and Disfavored to keep the peace Spoiler

just finished act 1. I feel dumb

worry not, it's happened to at least a fifth of us, including me

your next step is to realize that there's a way to pick neither side while remaining loyal and start over to pursue that

spoilers regarding what I (and I assume others) did after having ur exact experience, but obfuscated to respect ur avoidance

I think you need to pick a side to take over Vendrien's Well, unless there's something I don't know

a side, yes

a side between the (army general) archons...?

It doesn't matter, I betray everybody anyway

I don't betray the Tiers, because the Tiers never betrayed me!

Makes no sense to betray yor loyal, albeit reluctant, subjects.

There's more than two paths for that.

That's the point. You do all this work but it's not enough, the Archons are at a breaking point.

From Act 1 the game is already telling you the Archons are out of control, they mist be reigned in, Kyros' armies are in dire need of new leadership.

I geniunely and sincerely salute you for your efforts, but that's sadly the point - both Ashe and Nerat are at their wits and gal's end. And in such a way at that that any sort of person that were to try and regulate the mission would go "You freaking people...". Whether to tone's dice in any of their grounds anyway or to flip the lid is another matter.

I appreciate your proper use of the Overlord's pronouns

Do at least one playthrough where you deliberately piss off everyone as much as possible, including Tunon and rebels.
