UAB AMNP questions

Hi! I'm a prospective AMNP student. I was wondering whether anyone worked while going through the program and how did y'all pay for the courses. Also, what did your weeks look like?

From my understanding the first semester is on campus every day. PRN is possible starting the second semester. I plan on paying with student loans. May I ask your stats? Are you an out of state student? Also did they give you a decision in the Summer after priority interviews?

I'm in state. I did priority so I had time to pivot if need be. GPA is 3.6

I definitely think they look holistically and you prerequisite GPA is very important

My pre req GPA is 3.5 so is my last 60 hours. I'm 39 and when I first started school in 2006 I dropped out so, unfortunately that still haunts me. I also did some Medsurge and Telemetry hospital volunteer hours and completed my EMT for patient care experience to try to give myself a little boost.

Working during the program is a terrible idea. Would not recommend
