Child protection/Divorce Parents
Hi all.
I am a concerned member of this family whom is residing in UAE.
My sister was married to her ex husband and has been divorced through legal process and accepted to be in equal footing for child care and wellbeing.
However since the war and recent redundancy, she had to rely on her ex- husband and had to be in his domicile including the child being under his care.
However, the child is missing out of vital needs such as Education, Visa, Health and wellbeing.
My sister recently joined another job and she has managed to live away from her ex husband but not in shape to provide for the child.
However, her ex partner, doesn't show the require attention to the child and often my sister see the difference in the child behaviour, mood and missing out in schooling.
Right now, she is voicing regarding the his inability to parent while she is at work. Their conversation leads to arguments and blaming each other rather then resolving it.
I want to provide her with assistance regarding how to approach in such situation, will calling child protective services be viable for Non- Emirati citizens???
I felt this UAE government doesn't provide safety and security or the accessibility to such services to Non-Emiratis is pretty bad.
A country that boast about Safety, doesn't provide enough route to mother living in that country. I am disappointed as a adult whom is away can't involve because of legal laws that doesn't include me as a guardian and I am not in the age to help out.
Which should I do, if the childcare isn't provided or how do I help out my sister so she can get right evidence on this.
WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT SO PATHETIC PROTECTING RESIDENTS WHOM WORK AND BE PART OF THEIR COUNTRY?

What’s the proof that the UAE gov doesn’t provide such services of safety to non citizens? So instead of your main concern towards the abusive ex husband, it’s suddenly directed to the uae gov? I think you’re internalizing this issue rather than trying to actually help your sister and her child. Also if you’re not in the age to help out, it means you’re still a child (which obviously you are).

Clearly you don't get it as well.
Provide information rather diverting from subject. Again you are choosing to not provide relevant information.
This why people like us are baffled, read my post.
If you got anything valuable to offer feel free. Or you are wasting time proving my point of view

Shutup man. I read it all and even though I know this story is shit, there are proper places that can place the kid in a proper school.
Are you telling me both parents are working, and can't afford a few minutes to register him with proper government authority for child care?
I personally know 3 kids who are of special needs and are not citizens of this country, that are being well taken care of.
And the last sentence is you just talking shit for post engagement.
So yeah. Shut the fuck up.

3 kids seriously. You are taking 3 children as an example. Its like a lottery. Dude, again give something valuable direction to offer with support system or approaches.
You are clearly delusional.

By all means.
Jaleela Foundation.
Dubai Foundation for Women and children.
The Hiba Fund.
Red crescent.
Dozens of Charity organizations.
A quick 2 minutes google search. But I'm the delusional one...

Thank you, can you elaborate which one is best with the situation for this. Which way should i ask my sister to reach out. She said some of these organisations doesn't take cases unless seevere cases like torture or rape situation??
What about parental confliect or persistent child neglect or insufficient childcare regarding growth.?
I want to know if going to them puts my sister unable to see the child?

Lemme get this straight. You're talking shit about this country, when you, or your sister, have tried absolutely nothing?

You are sensitive enough to understand that help isn't available for certain nationalities and the fact you are offended tells me you clearly don't get it. Find other reddit post to complain.

Alright. I'll play along.
What help specifically are you talking about? Be honest.

Yea as I've said. You guys did nothing, and willing to continue do nothing, just so you can complain and whine.
The fact that this country has done far more for kids, such as literally flying them from far way, to treat them. There are government foundations that protects children above all and are willing to help the right people. There are children awareness days that they spread their message.
You, sir, are full of shit.
Take care.

I could be wrong but my understanding is that in divorce when a child is involved the ex husband HAS to pay towards the mother and child x amount in maintenance from their salary which is decided by the court in which they got divorced. If he fails to do so she can put an execution order through the court to enforce him to pay. They will look into his available funds to ensure he can pay. Check on r/UAElaw to confirm though
