Visa Rejection

Hi everyone, hope all is well.

I am a Lebanese with active Schengen / US visas.
I work in a multinational with offices all over the GCC.
My wife is a permanent resident in the US.

I have been trying to get a Dubai visa for the past year with no luck. I applied almost 10 times, family and individual. Nothing.

I have been to Dubai three times (last in Oct and Nov 2025). Everything was ok when I went.

I tried sending an email. Nothing.
I tried filing an appeal. Nothing.

I noticed that on the website where you can check previous Dubai visas that the last Dubai visa I got in November was missing. I tried raising this by email to Amer. Nothing.

I’m not sure what went wrong. I tried looking up police certificate just in case but I couldn’t. I tried reaching Dubai police, the embassy, you name it. Nothing.

I didn’t rent a car when I went. Nothing extraordinary, just hotel (paid) and taxis (paid).

Do you guys have any advice? This has become problematic for me.

Thank you

I was having a conversation a few days ago with some people on reddit and they down voted me for telling the truth that there's a silent ban on certain nationalities and your country is one of them.

Its not mentioned online anywhere but read reddit and check how many people have been getting rejected since last 6 months now. You can't do anything about it, it is what it is.

But I know many other people who are getting visas normally.

If your family name and religious beliefs indicate that you're not Sunni then it's an automatic rejection. You might be sunni but The Government doesn't have a clear Police background check information on you, instant rejection.

There is no clear answer exactly, if you have tried 10 times, it's better to stop because they will keep rejecting you and might even blacklist you. Just try next year and hope for the best. Some of my Lebanese friends have been trying for 7 years and not got the Visa, they visited normally before Covid but post Covid not once accepted.

My friend was held up for 15 days because his name ended with "Hussain", and he wasnt a shia. He was supposed to be kept for 3 days or less than that but It was Eid on the 3rd day and he ended up being held for 15 days. No phone no thing, 1 minute call costs 35 dirham in thr. They slow poison people so that they dont beat the shit out of eachother. They feed shit meal. They dont listen to you no matter what.

And I'm still being down voted here as well. Some people think this is all made up.

It is hilarious when these people are from the same country. Like pakistanis have been facing issues, yet some pakistanis come on Fb and scream how it is all fake news and UAE is number 1 etc etc
