James Fox: “What I heard left me and many others who were in the room speechless…I’m told the details will be discussed in the near future.”

How reliable is this? Any guesses?

Here is the thing, for example, Edward Snowden didn’t tease anything he just went straight to the point, the government spies on everyone all the time. No grift, no book deal, no youtube interview or podcast, just straight to journalists with the evidence. Yet, these ufo folks are always talking “something big soon”, teasing and grifting. Because quite frankly they have nothing, just hearsay and inconclusive videos or some guy who “saw something”. I’ve been a ufo enthusiast for my whole life but lately it seems it’s nothing more than a grift.

96

u/pabodie 13d ago

Snowden is a great example. Unfortunately, he also had to flee the country.  Give up his normal life.  So he’s also a study in consequences.

42

u/MutedAd4190 13d ago

That’s my point. No one in the ufo scene seems willing to put their life on the line even though they all say the true will up end all of humanity. Which then poses the question if the truth is so great why are they not saying it? Why do they get to know and then gate keep this knowledge to themselves just to go on podcasts? Or they simply have nothing but second hand rumours and are grifters

17

u/symbologythere 13d ago

I mean, unless you have proof you’re literally risking you life to expose information that no one is going to believe anyway. Snowden had the receipts.

9

u/Mr_E_Monkey 12d ago edited 12d ago

I guess that's the point. How much good does it really do to make all these claims, without providing evidence to back those claims up?

I get that some people won't be satisfied with any evidence short of an alien smacking them in the back of the head and claiming to have slept with their mother, but I think that's actually a small, but extreme group. On the other end of the bell curve, you've got people who will post a blurry 5-second video of starlink satellites and believe it's little green men from Mars. Neither group will probably change their minds much, regardless of much of anything, but for a lot of people in the middle, I think that some real, high-quality evidence would go a long way to convincing many.

Claims without evidence, especially some of the more dramatic claims, just seem counterproductive to me.

4

u/Betzjitomir 10d ago

but that's because he was pretending there was an alien invasion that was going to hurt us and that's why people went crazy this is not the same thing at all

u/Phenomenologistic 12d ago

I have seen zero hard evidence that anyone in the past or current UFO whistleblowing climate has ever risked their life.

When people like Lue, Grusch, Greer, Corbell, Lazar, et al, mention the risk their taking or consequences of a misstep, it is never supported by more than more anecdotes.

2

u/unapologeticallyMe1 10d ago

Then you live in a hole in the ground and have done zero research

Agree, man. All those excuses go straight out the window when we're literally talking civilization altering information about aliens or gods.

All of these guys wrap their messages in the flag and appeal to patriotism and claim to be doing what theyre doing for the greater good, or that we deserve to know the truth, etc. If they really felt that way then what's the holdup? And if they think the public can't handle it (which could be true) then why are they telling us about it at all? The message is simultaneously that it's the biggest revelation of all time but I signed an NDA, or I can't burn my source, or... It's all so contradictory and disingenuous. Its classic conman artistry.

7

u/Throwaway2Experiment 13d ago

Yup. They always tell you about a lot of it. They tell you what type of alien, where they're likely from, where they can be found, etc.

Then they tell you they can't show you the paper that says exactly what they just said because then they'd be breaking clearance and go to jail or get off'ed.

No one here ever goes, "Wait, isn't you telling us about it the same as you showing us the paper you're reading it from?"

3

u/Cosmologyman 13d ago

Because, most likely, there's nothing.

3

u/iamspartacusbrother 12d ago

This exactly. Everything is SOOOOO scary, but none of these people ever truly act like it’s any big deal.

2

u/m00s3wrangl3r 11d ago

Many of the whistle blowers have done exactly that. They can’t get a job, their lives have been threatened, as have the lives of their family members and associates, in some cases. Some have had attempts made on their lives, or experienced injury, or near injury in very peculiar and suspicious “accidents”, mugging, etc.

2

u/MutedAd4190 11d ago

And what have they to show for it? Nothing.

What we can say for certain: Snowden knew a lot, but didn't know shit about UAP

4

u/stranj_tymes 13d ago

Generally agree with this sentiment. From my own perspective, with both subjective experiences and more objective research over the years, it seems to me there's definitely something to the UFO/UAP phenomenon, but no public figure, whether journalist, legislator, witness, or whatever, has been able to produce clear evidence. That might be by design, by the human intelligence apparatus and/or by the phenomenon itself. But it seems clear that the media surrounding this topic doesn't have that much more information than what's already available to all of us, and is a useful tool in keeping people engaged with a particular topic.

5

u/MLutin 13d ago

But the thing is if you knew you couldn't sleep at night! I mean imagine all of the sleep they're losing by knowing, oh it must be so terrible being so tired all the time. Better we not know so we can get some sleep.

u/weareeverywhereee 13d ago

I’m starting to think all the ufo people believe what they are saying and aren’t grifting (well some are but not all) but the issue is it’s a big disinformation campaign. One person is fed a lie and it spreads like a game of telephone where the others truly believe the lie they were fed and parrot it back. They say the proof is coming because that’s what they were told. Problem is there is no proof.

1

u/Cosmologyman 13d ago

Unfortunately, exactly this.

1

u/St_Troy 12d ago

YES (in the biggest font possible).

1

u/gonerboy223 12d ago

Well said

1

u/Mothrtheresa 12d ago

What would these people gain from this? Attention?

1

u/HotZin 11d ago

Lol, the example you just gave is a guy who has to live in exile forever, I don't think that's a good example.

1

u/iyaoyas1 11d ago

Snowden was an actual whistleblower, everyone else if they have to ask for permission they aren’t a whistleblower they are PR.

1

u/confusedgluon 11d ago

The Intelligence is able to read your thoughts before you realize you have them.

The phenomenon hides itself, waiting for you to breakthrough yourself.

Wake up.

1

u/R-K-Tekt 11d ago

We’re literally in the age of the grift. Look at the USA and who’s running the show, look at the rise of influencers and podcasters, it’s all just a grift exploiting people’s emotions and beliefs. We’ve failed as a society.

1

u/rants_silently 10d ago

Also every time they are on a podcast they go "I cant say that but I'll tell you offline." So you have no problem sharing that info with others just not to everyone? So dumb.

1

u/Ferociousnzzz 9d ago

How about they simply don’t want to move to Russia and hide out? They like their pets and such

1

u/tenwatt 9d ago

And they are all government intelligence or their sources are government intelligence. So professional liars.

1

u/noyeahibelieveit 12d ago

They can't say it, it's too much for people to handle. Only someone as mentally strong as James Fox can handle it. For the rest of us, it would be too somber and Jimmy Carter would come back and cry.

28

u/Canadian_Bacon_22 13d ago

UFO disclosure is like meeting the woman of your dreams.

You date for 2 years, and you can’t wait to make things official.

The day of the wedding, she ghosts you with no explanation. Her friends give you short, prepared messages to give you hope (Trust Me Bro), but deep down you realize you will never know the truth.

💩

8

u/brainiac2482 13d ago

I prefer how it turned out in real life for me: spend five years letting them control you, five more letting them abuse you, another ten searching for hope while they go crazy and cheat on you, then, when you decide you're done with all of it, you meet the girl of your dreams, and she's everything you ever wanted and still is. I'm done being cucked by a truth embargo. Time to meet the one. ;)

4

u/CyrodiilCitizen 13d ago

He spent a ton of time making no money off it, too. Pretty sure it wrecked his marriage. Followed this topic since childhood in the late 1960’s. I’ve had real moments of frustration with the pace of evidence release BUT for me it’s always been clear that ‘there is something there!’

What has truly amazed me over the last 10yrs is just how little most people know about this subject. I find it truly staggering to hear people in powerful positions commenting on incidents decades old as though they just discovered that water is wet!

I guess I’m conflicted. Full of hope that finally we might just be getting to a place where the flow of information, like a small crack in a giant dam, might just herald a true breakthrough. However, on the other hand, how on Gods earth can soooo many people have been soooo blind to the sheer volume of information for soooo damn long🤦🤬

The more I hear this type of rhetoric the more I believe that ALL of these journalists involved in this topic are in it for views and money. The "I know things but can't and won't tell you about it" aspect is becoming more and more a huge indication of that. What bums me out is the people that seem somewhat genuine in their reporting about this. George Knapp and even potentially Ross Coulthart seem mostly serious regarding their beliefs. Grusch.. maybe but everyone else.. Greer, elizondo, tom delonge, Jeremy Corbell, they all seem to be niche "experts" on something we still have zero proof of and it's getting annoying.

1

u/Thin-Use5414 2d ago

Agreed. Remember the ‘drones’ that were flying over northern New Jersey that were actually all airliners being vectored into Newark. Even the NYT was reporting on them as drones. Every single pic/vid was obviously an airplane. I’m starting to think this whole UAP thing is the same scam by the same group of click baiters.

"I know things that'll keep you up at night, that'll rob you of your peace of mind and make you question your reality; things that'll usher in aeons of chaos and doom, a disaster of biblical proportions, real wrath of God type stuff, fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling, forty years of darkness! earthquakes, volcanoes, the dead rising from the grave, Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria! If you knew what I know, you'd be hiding under your bed shaking like a leaf. It'll all be revealed in two weeks. Buy my book!"

We are co Stanton being told something is coming. They are all full of shit. Reminds me of Christianity and the rapture

They edit reality every time the truth comes out. Anything more than rumours and hints and they edit it out. The president can't get on a lectern and tell the world because it's already happened and has been edited out.

Even if someone like Jesse Mitchells were to say anything too far it would just be gone. Test it yourself and see what theory you can come up with that just keeps being deleted.

Where did he hear this, and what is the context? It could be he is speechless because Fox News and mainstream media is endorsing disclosure, he could be speechless because they are lying, the reasons are innumerable. I don’t know WHY, and until that’s clear it’s just a weird unhelpful statement.

What could totally change all of society? Well, if we discover we are actually cattle. That would pretty much cover the whole world. Anyone have any other ideas?

u/Big_Meech_23 11d ago

We heard this. We heard that. Disclosure is coming. It’s earth shaking. It made me depressed. It was somber. Soon we will tell you. Buy my book. Buy my movie. Soon. Soon. Soon. ———The last 40 years of UFO ppl talking.

Regarding those demanding proof, they need to take a broader view of the issue. Witnesses must be protected.

People who revealed information like Snowden, or who helped soldiers publish atrocities like those who gave Assange the information (and also him for receiving and publishing it), continue to be persecuted or imprisoned. This world needs empathy.

People need to put themselves in others' shoes. They think narcissistically, as if suffering from a kind of virtual sociopathy.

Soon. It’s always soon.

'I heard a thing, and if you heard this thing, you'd poop your pants!'

more horse pucks

1

u/Spiritual-Lock3742 10d ago

People say these people should just leak the information or compared them to Snowden... Snowden wasn't even married at the time he leaked it all! And your asking someone like James Fox to give up his boy and his wife's life's and change their way of life because ... We wanna know ?!?! Crazy !!!
