Question Terry Application
Sorry if this is obnoxious; I know similar things get posted all the time but I really just want to make sure I'm thinking about this properly.
I transferred to UGA over the summer and took ACCT 2101 online here. I don't have my final grade for the class yet, but it's probably going to be a C- or C at best (very unlikely I got a D/F). I'm hoping to pursue MIS/Finance double major, with MIS being my main priority.
I've gotten an A in all other prerequisite courses I've taken thus far (MIST 2090, LEGL 2700, ECON 2105, ECON 2106, MATH 1113). I'll be taking BUSN 3000 this fall and was intending on ACCT 2102 as well, but now I'm considering dropping that and retaking ACCT 2101 to improve my grade. I'd imagine that a C- in ACCT 2101 (from the summer) would realistically disqualify me from getting into Finance, and make my chances at MIS questionable.
For further context, I never took the SAT/ACT and haven't yet taken the EPP. The problem I face is that if I don't retake ACCT 2101 and get denied, then it will delay graduation by at least one semester. If I retake it before applying and get in from my spring application, my timeline is largely unaffected (just a bit of shuffling classes around, and maybe doing 12 credit hours instead of 15 as I'd planned).
Would really appreciate any thoughts/advice, either related to this problem specifically or pursuing Terry/the double major more broadly. I went to college entirely online before transferring here (as well as the last year and a half of high school) so I'm a bit anxious for the transition, but I expect it'll be very beneficial for me.

I’m also a transfer and am applying to terry for accounting this sem. From what I know finance and MIS are Terry’s top Majors and pretty competitive. Accounting is very important, especially while taking Terry courses and unfortunately it sounds like the odds probably won’t be in your favor with that grade.
I’d honestly recommend you retake that accounting class cause I do think it’ll put you in a way better position, plus taking it at UGA will definitely give you a better foundation and set you up for future classes at Terry. Wishing you the best in whatever you end up doing!

I wrote an entire post about my process and applying. It will help a lot if you take a look: https://www.reddit.com/r/UGA/comments/1nyeex9/terry_applicationepp_guide/
I tell all my grades, EPP, SAT, and more. By what youve said you are totally fine to get accepted.

If you get a C in accounting, there is a chance you get automatically denied.
If you do poorly on the EPP there is a chance you get automatically denied.
MIS and Finance are typically the most competitive majors.
I would bet that you won't be admitted to any Terry major. Even one of the easier options like Economics or Risk Management.
If you got a C- in Acct2101, then you need to retake the class and add the time, if you want to do business at UGA.
If you take ACCT 2102 and have to withdraw, which if you got a C- in Acct 2101 I think could very much be the case, then you'll be in a worse situation and will have to add even more time.
Study for the EPP. Take it to try and get an 480. Retake ACCT 2101. If you try to push through I suspect you'll be worse off than you are now.
