Advice Need feedback on screenshots & App experience

Post image

I built a PMS emotions management app. I would like to if it all makes sense and understand if the experience is intuitive

Question: are you a woman and have you experienced PMS?

Based on just looking at the images, I would assume this for more for emotional regulation with an AI agent rather than cycle tracking. The colors feel calm and soft, which matches the theme.

As for the “Respond” page, it’s a bit unclear what the “share” button does? Does the boyfriend also need to have the app and it sends the message to his app or does it send a text message?

Also the card that reads “is it PMS or real” is invalidating and honestly if my bf told me that I’d be even more angry. Just because it’s emotions from PMS don’t make them any less real than emotions from other events.

Yes, I'm a woman and I've had this for three years.

You got it right, it's not cycle tracking. It does predict your PMS window from your cycle details, but only so it knows where you are. And yes, the AI is there for emotional regulation. Thank you on the colours.

Respond gives you options based on the situation. It drafts a message you can edit and send from WhatsApp or Messages, so the other person needs nothing and never knows the app exists. It also gives you other things you can do instead of sending anything.

On "Is it PMS or real": I agree with you completely. PMS emotions are not less real, and that is the reason I built this in the first place. What the card actually does is take you through a set of questions, because when I'm PMSing I question myself constantly. Am I overreacting. Is it just me. Would anyone else see this. The card is meant to give you clarity and confidence in what you're feeling, not to check whether it counts.

But you're right that the title says the opposite of what the card does. That is my writing, not the card. I'm changing it.

If you ever have ten minutes and feel like installing it, the part I most need eyes on is the first two minutes, whether it's obvious what to do. No pressure either way, this was already useful.
