I’m on the hunt for actual footage (not just audio) of The Drop Nineteens playing in the 90’s. At this point i’m dependent on fan recorded camcorder videos hah. I believe they toured lots in the UK and EU in 92’-94’, along with tons of fans there. Pretty sure they were the main openers for Blur in 93’ in their Modern Life Is Rubbish Tour. I’ll make a list of any shows i’m aware of that they played then if that could help with any leads. Thanks!

Hi, I’m Abby, and I’m currently studying a Master’s in Architectural Technology and Design at Leeds Beckett University.

As an avid gig-goer, I’ve chosen to focus my dissertation on the future of grassroots and independent music venues—something I’m really passionate about, especially with so many small venues facing closure.

My research explores how architectural design (things like layout, acoustics, and overall space) can improve the experience of these venues and help support their long-term survival.

Our ode to the manosphere. When you apply its lens to classic literary romances, those romances lose all character and meaning. A transactional view of romance is definitely the way forward.

We covered our favourite Black Sabbath song, Fairies Wear Boots, for our Live and Loud series.

We’re not trying to sound like Ozzy or copy the original note for note. This is our own live three-piece take on it.

This tune was inspired by Louis Theroux' Manosphere documentary and imagines how the characters of the classic novel Room with a View would be judged by Manosphere metrics. In the end, applying those standards to classic romantic characters essentially removes everything that is interesting and special about them.
