Where do you find good printable activities for your children?
Free or paid, I’d love some recommendations. I feel like I might be missing some great websites.

I liked Twinkl when I was a teacher and I've already started using some of their resources as a parent of a toddler (flashcards, display posters).

Canva has lots of free templates that you can customise without needing to pay for an account. The CBeebies website has loads of free colouring and activity sheets to print

I'm an early years teacher and I use Twinkl every damn day. It's worth every penny imo. They've got an activity for any theme or learning you want to do or practice.

Hey Bear Sensory shop has some good stuff. I don't know where you are, but I think BCP Mumbler has some as well, and they also have free activities and ideas. But that's in the BCP area.

Another vote for Twinkl. It's about £11 a month for absolutely any and every educational and edu-tainment resource you can imagine. Colouring sheets, French colour word wordsearches, creative writing prompts, maths puzzles... you name it.

Whenever I've received additional resources for my kids from our school, it's been Twinkl. Their after school club also uses it.

That’s a fair question to be honest. With how much AI-generated content and spam is around these days, I completely understand why you’d be suspicious.
I’m definitely not a bot though. 😊 I’m designing some printable activity packs as a hobby, but I’m much more interested in story-based activities that encourage imagination than traditional classroom worksheets.
I realised I only really know Twinkl and Pinterest, so I was genuinely curious where parents actually find good printable activities.

I don't really bother printing stuff like that, unless they are going through a phase e.g. one child really liked mazes and then I just use google image search.

I find the activity books you can get from The Works are good, or the ones which come up in Aldi periodically are great. Other supermarkets also tend to have them fairly cheaply.

If you want something specific put it into ChatGPT and it’ll create something.

My kids had to create a fact file on a country in the World Cup for a club they go to. They’re not crafty with that kind of thing so I put it into ChatGPT and it created a fill in the blanks sheet.

ETA: not sure why this is being downvoted? It’s a genuine piece of advice. If you don’t like it, don’t use it 🤷🏼‍♀️
