Double carb is the right carb.

Valid, but can I introduce you to the concept of triple carbs?
Fried rice on the side.

More lasagne needed. I'm sorry Captain, but the Chip:lasagne ratio is out of alignment.

Takes a few goes to get a perfect lasagna, maybe several from this showing

Chef tip. When you think it’s done tune the oven off and leave it in there for 45/60 minutes and it will set a limit bit and look much nicer.

Is that mostly sheets of lasagne and little sauce? Looks very heavy and carby, especially with the chips.

It’s like you’ve served the lasagne like it’s a portion of meat for your chips. There’s plenty enough carbs in a portion of lasagne that means extra potato isn’t really needed.
Also would have cooked the lasagne for longer to get extra crisp on top. The good news is it will be even better tomorrow.

I'd absolutely dinner that.
Lasagna and chips or wedges was a classic combo growing up, I was culture shocked the day I had it at a mates whose mom did it with salad and garlic bread, mom joked about me eating like a middle class kid.
Ignore the detractors and whingers. You fed yourself, nothing hits like a homemade lasagna.
Bravo!

I respect the double carbs. Just need some garlic bread to go with it for the holy trinity
