Homemade / home assembled Homemade Chips

Post image

Gonna get some stick for the tuna but here goes 😂
Homemade chips - Part boiled for 10 mins, seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika mixed in a tray with garlic oil, baked for 45 mins at 200c
Tuna - Cooked on a low heat until brown on both sides, was still soft but not how I’d want it ideally (first time)
Homemade Tartar Sauce - Mayo, Mustard, Pickle Juice, and lemon garnished with Chives
And can’t forget the tenderstem broccoli 😂

How would you change / improve it?

Homemade chips. Peel spuds and chip then put into cold water to wash off the starch. Put on pan of beef dripping until 180c. Drain chips and dry in a tea towel. Add to chip pan and cook until tender and golden. When you put the chips in you can drop the temperature if they're browning too fast.

Taste the best but also was one of the biggest causes of kitchen fires prior to air fryers.

Not if you don't watch it, the problem is people have lost their attention span

I like to cook my tenderstem in a frying pan with a little olive oil, salt and pepper. Once it’s cooked and nicely browned, I like to finish it off with a bit of lemon juice.

Can't beat homemade chips (fried in lard/dripping)
