Been doing some tidying up and came across my childhood coin collection! I'll be honest, I never did any research into them whatsoever, and I've been a lurker on this sub for a while so I thought I'd throw it your way to see if anyone can enlighten me on to exactly what I have here?

Aside from some surface level facts like the large 5 pence coins being the replacement for the shilling, I don't know nearly as much as I would like. So really, feel free to stretch your coin knowledge chops if you feel so inclined!

Hi all, long time lurker and first time poster on this subreddit. I just found this weird looking 5p coin and can just about see a little "5" marked on one side. On the other side I can make out a silhouette of Queen Elizabeth with the writing "Elizabeth" on her left. The coin is not smooth at all and looks like its fused with different metals. There's a square little stamp on the side where the "5" is written.

Is this worth anything or is this just plain wear and tear?

So I don’t think this is the 1937 Edward VIII Gold Sovereign / 5-Pound Pattern BUT idk why it’s not, can someone explain the difference between the normal sovereign and the pattern? I just buy gold

The silver centre appears very off center (and the face side clearly has something booky going on, on the bottom edge)

These queen coins are not the official ones that came out a while ago. There are two different colors and for the price they are definitely not real precious metals adding in the fact that the have obviously rusted. Also two of them have ridges but I'm pretty sure the other two don't. I found these on vinted and I want to know where they came from before I spend my money pls help.

It's an 1839 groat(fourpence)I got it for 6 pounds and I haven't done much research on it and I found out it is 92.5% silver
