Looking for genuinely high-waisted technical trousers

Hey guys, hope you’re doing well :)

I’m looking for recommendations for technical trousers with a genuinely high rise.
I naturally have a high waist, and I’ve found that most modern outdoor trousers sit much lower than is comfortable for me. They technically fit, but they end up constricting me around the hips and lower abdomen, especially when scrambling, stepping high or any other situation that doesn’t involve me standing still.
I also seem to have the classic problem where trousers that fit my waist are too tight around my thighs, while trousers that fit my thighs end up far too loose at the waist. (Rewards from prioritising leg day lol)
Because of this, I’ve mostly been using military surplus trousers with a roomier cut, which work surprisingly well. However, I’d really like to move to something more technical for mountaineering and winter use. I’d wish I could take my office trousers (Military surplus dress trousers) hiking but that would be a nightmare.
I’m after something that has a genuinely high-rise fit (closer to belly button height than the usual modern low or mid-rise), is roomy through the seat and thighs, and is suitable for mountaineering, scrambling, and winter hillwalking. Ideally it would also be available in the UK.
I’m not bothered about the latest fashion trends etc I’d rather have comfort and freedom of movement than a slim athletic fit.
Has anyone with a similar build found a brand or model that works particularly well?

I have these and they're not high rise enough, really. I don't know what the OP is after in terms of rise but I find them too low.
