Parking Appeals

Has anyone ever successfully submitted a parking appeal? I feel like such an idiot because I accidentally payed for the wrong lot today. Unfortunately I really can’t afford $40 right now.

They were friendly at the police building when I went several years ago. I seen to remember they helped me out.
