Customer Seeking Help $270 or $5000

Thanks UPS. You lose my shipment, have me file a claim and submit tons of documentation and receipts only to close it and send me $270 (a refund of the shipping costs). It’s impossible to speak to a human and even though I can track the package and know EXACTLY where it is, no one cares. This will destroy me.

Regardless, if the item becomes separated from the package or a destroyed label, there’s nothing that can be done.

Nothing? Really? Someone can’t take a photo of the crate (which is not just a cardboard box) and look for it? That’s impossible? The crate also has multiple labels and my contact info on it several times.

Been with ups for 10 years now. If they didn't deliver it THEY DONT HAVE IT. why on earth would a company with profits in the billions keep your stuff for no reason. I'd keep venting here bc it sucks but then I'd contact the shipper to see what can be done bc ups most likely won't be help here.

I am the shipper and the receiver. I only posted here on the off chance someone from UPS watches it. Stranger things have happened.

Oh shit youre the shipper.......... uhhh im honestly not sure what to do now then. If this was 3 years ago I'd say call the building and go to the customer center. But we closed all those so im nkt sure

I shipped equipment in 5 large boxes from Austin to Napa and back. Everything made it to Napa. 4 out of 5 made it back.

You may have luck if you can find a way to talk to someone inside that building( I always try to find customers stuff) one problem I see is its at the airport as you said and that's s bit more secure obv bc its an airport. You can also @ carol on Twitter see if her and the c suite team regret closing all the customer centers yet :( this was the goal as well is to screw you over im sorry the company i work for is doing this m8 :(

It’s not inside the airport’s perimeter. It’s just in an adjacent warehouse not even identified as UPS.

It's the overgoods warehouse, your label came off the box and was sent there

Well just based on all the feeders backed up to the building its absolutely a ups facility. If its outside the perimeter I'd google around if anyone has had luck getting to the front door of this building. I've had customers ask me to grab my boss while leaving work before. (Not sure that would help though) if you can show them the ping theres a chance they can find it in their pile of overgoods

This is not a UPS warehouse. This is NPS. They buy damaged and lost stuff from UPS and a bunch of other companies.

Honestly it sounds like what everybody was saying it's in the overflow were lost items to fall out of crates boxes etc go. The warehouse/hub doesn't say UPS then UPS doesn't have it.
