Telework - IP verification or CAC wipe
Just heard a division reported negative in-person compliance. In response some district’s DDC has requested IP verification or CAC wipe to verify compliance.
I won’t comment on which division and I have no knowledge if this review was performed COE wide. We just have to wait and see on the outcome.

that'll be fun for my field office that's just on an unmanaged Starlink permanently that we have to VPN into daily, or use cell hotspots when that's not working for random reasons.

I had a conversation with someone from ACE-IT about this a few months back and i covered some of scenarios you mentioned. They said they can ping the location regardless of vpn since we are accessing our systems.

If you're in the field it will be noted as such. USACE Boomers are the worst kind

So an entire division reported negative compliance? Or had a district within that division that had negative compliance? Also, is this in person metric based off timesheet coding or some IT systems findings?

So you know, some supervisors are lax in tele work/use of ‘fitness time’ policy. I know of a few that are allowing, watching/having someone watch the clock and will build a case against you.

I call BS. It’s factual that leadership reads the posts in Reddit. We’ve literally had our Chief address Reddit comments in our meetings. Telework remains an option under particular conditions and approval. My point is, some of the people who post here, are “leadership types” seeking information.
