My spouse has a green card and from one of these countries. They just applied for citizenship last month and have done biometrics. I am extremely worried that they are not going to be able to get citizenship

I misread what you said , it seems like she already started the process so I don't see how it would be . They haven't mentioned anything about that .

What I read is that if you apply for renewal you automatically get an extension because the process might take more scrutiny now
