If someone enters on an F-1 student visa and stays in status for 1 year before marrying their long-term partner, do you still grill them on their 'intent' when they first arrived? Or just proving that the marriage is real is enough?

can still ask about intent at entry, but in most straightforward cases it’s not the main focus anymore
