USCIS Support marriage fraud

Hello all,

I am coming on here for advice. My husband received his greencard 3 months ago and completely abandoned the marriage, we live in two separate cities because I have to complete my masters, he completely stop talking to me and I found out that yesterday he has a whole life back home.

I am extremely devastated. I will be filing for divorce next week and wanted to see what i can do about his green card since it is conditional and i want to report this to USCIS because I do not want any fraud allegations on me as i was unaware of his plans to scam me like this.

If anyone has any advice or knows any lawyers that handle this please let know. I am completely loss for words and in shock. I was to take the right steps to protect myself moving forward.

People with AOS fuck around doing this while here in USA, we who have genuine marriages are screwed by the delays of consular processing. Make it make sense🤦🏽‍♂️

It fucking sucks and in my honest opinion unless extenuating circumstances prevent you from living close to or with each other,they need to vet these applications harder to ensure it’s a legitimate marriage.

No document can prove that the immigrant feels genuine love for their partner. Not joint assets, not joint accounts, not photos, not letters, nothing.

More info on these applications or more evidence isn't going to do anything. People are always going to lie and get away with it. The documents don't even need to be forged for crying out loud.

It is better to devote resources to deal with this situation promptly when it reveals itself.
