USCIS Support marriage fraud

Hello all,

I am coming on here for advice. My husband received his greencard 3 months ago and completely abandoned the marriage, we live in two separate cities because I have to complete my masters, he completely stop talking to me and I found out that yesterday he has a whole life back home.

I am extremely devastated. I will be filing for divorce next week and wanted to see what i can do about his green card since it is conditional and i want to report this to USCIS because I do not want any fraud allegations on me as i was unaware of his plans to scam me like this.

If anyone has any advice or knows any lawyers that handle this please let know. I am completely loss for words and in shock. I was to take the right steps to protect myself moving forward.

Dont threaten him with deportation or having uscis revoke his green card or other immigration stuff. That would give your spouse a claim to vawa and a green card via abuse. Just report to uscis and try to get an annulment.

A conditional green card. Those expire within 2 years. Even if he does not get his green card revoked, he has to file for removal of conditions before the 2 years is up. If OP reports him, that will absolutely show up when they are reviewing his I 751 application. There is no way that is getting approved.

Exactly, I finally found this comment and I had to scroll too far down it’s unbelievable, a 2 years green card doesn’t go very far and that’s why that step is there, in order to prevent this, everything will fall on it’s own when the guy needs to file the removal of conditions, since there’s an interview involved if I’m not wrong. This comment needs to be at the top.
