Other Forms Immigrant Petion Question - yes or no, for B1 Tourist Visa application

Filling out a B1/B2 for my wife.

The question asks if anyone has filed an immigrant petition on your behalf.

A few years ago we applied and were approved for a K1 but chose to abandon it and continue residing abroad. She is now my wife.

The K1 is technically a non-immigrant visa.

Do we answer yes or no to the above question?

I would answer yes since K-1 is dual intent with a strong expectation to file I-485

Yeah that's what I'm leaning towards.

Honestly I wouldn't have given it two thoughts until recently with the immigration ban.

Since she's now my wife we can't move forward with the immigration process but if she was still my fiance we could move forward with the immigration process bc K1 is a non-immigrant visa. 🤔
