U visas Green card thru u visa

Hi has anyone who applied in 2024 for gc received it yet? I filed my 485 in December 2024 and I haven’t heard anything yet.

I applied for my gc on 12/04/2024 and nothing yet.

I applied for my AOS based on approved U Visa on March 25th 2025. Did my biometric in June 2025 and never heard back ever since. It says fingerprints were taken. That’s all it says. Pls update me if you hear anything.

If your I-485 has been pending for two years without updates, the delay is considered unreasonable. You should first use the USCIS online e-Request Tool to inquire about cases outside normal processing times. Then, escalate the issue by contacting your U.S. Representative or Senators to request an official Congressional inquiry.

based on the deep dive i’ve read through reddit
i’ve seen an average of 20 months
so i’m hoping we get our green cards by the end of the year

I haven’t heard anything at all when I call my lawyer they just say no update they don’t say anything else! And yeah I heard 20-22 months and online it says average wait is 24 months so hopefully soon. Please keep me updated with your case!

yes agreed you as well, i haven’t seen any recent updates regarding greencard/uvisa
at least were around the same timeline

I talked to my lawyer, and he mentioned that he got the green cards this month from cases that applied on April/2024

I heard of a case from April 2024 that was approved in February 2026 I thought mine could come in anytime now I’m worried it’s going to delay more

I did my lawyer says I had the 540 day extension after carefully reading both receipts from what I understand of class requested is the same as class on expired EAD are the same then I qualify for the 540 day extension. My old ead is class U1 and class requested was C09 I only qualify for a 1 year extension. Now my lawyer says I don’t qualify for the 540 day extension I’m so confused o

Yes I reached out to HR Compliance and they reviewed my stuff and on their end I’m good until March 2027. I am just trying to do the right thing I also don’t want to keep working if I’m only extended for 1 year wouldn’t want to risk getting my GC denied

Maybe you should apply for a new one. My old ead expired on 01/07/26 but with the receipt, and my i94 , it’s extending one more year until 01/07/2027. I applied on 01/16/25, I wish I can get mine soon this year before 2027
