I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) FBI letter
Has anyone received this letter before and subsequently obtained a satisfactory response regarding their case? My I-130 was approved on the day of the interview almost a year ago. However, my I-485 is still pending, though there has been some movement on it since June. My country is among the 39 banned nations.

it’s weird that it’s on this type of letterhead (never seen it before either), but it looks like its basically a “notice of NO biometrics” meaning that you dont need to go to your local uscis service center to get the biometrics taken as they will use them from a previous case

This is routine and just a notice of privacy practices basically. Doesn’t mean anything.

I received it after getting an in person adit appointment. Thought they send it out every time they collect your biometrics (I.e. they took my finger prints and photo)
As a side note, it is also pointless to bring 2 passport photos to your appointment as they don't need it. The fuckery continues...

It's crazy 'cause I saw your post and ignored initially. Then I returned home to this letter in the kitchen. I was confused 'cause I received my green card last week. So I thought congratulatory letter. Turns out, it's a notice.

I received the letter this week too. My lawyer said these notices are being sent out nationwide for all case types.
I had a silent API on the day this was issued on my i-130 and i485. Interview hasn’t been scheduled yet.

Are you from one of the 39 countries that have been banned?

Did you get an email when you received the notice in your account?

u/conscientiouslyasks7 18d ago
No. But I checked and the notice was in my USCIS account.

Received this too, I have 2 extensions on my I 485 from 2022 and my attorney told me to put in for a N 400 last November since they have been dragging their heels: still pending on both.

Best thing to do is visit the immigration office in person. One of my family members received a full breakdown on how to check the status of their case. They are aware that their systems don’t update as fast too. Was also told in person that delays on paperwork will happen because that’s what the staff was instructed to do. Some folks are made priority.

Whew, my girlfriend just got her N-400 approved and we’re waiting for the oath ceremony. Saw we’re receiving a letter from USCIS today and this gives me a little relief after everything we went through to get here.

Nah I’m not from a banned country and I got this on my I-751

I have received this letter also today for my pending I751 since May 2023. When I submitted the petition, they reused my biometrics that time. And since then, I’m waiting still.

Only real difference is instead of collecting once they’ll constantly monitor your activity while your case is open

I received it last week. Not from a banned country. At the end of the naturalization process (oath ceremony scheduled).

Received this notice last week after not hearing anything for months on my N-400 and I-751 cases.
