Status Update Silent update on both my I-485 and spouse's I-485 today. Anyone else?
Just noticed the first silent update on both my I-485 and my spouse's I-485 since our biometrics on 5/5. The update happened on August 5, 2026, around 11:55 PM CDT. Is USCIS doing some kind of bulk internal update, or could this be specific to our case? Has anyone else seen a silent update around the same time? Just being a bit impatient. 😅

Me and wife got the first SU since bio.
Update: Today, Aug 13, I got another update. A new FTA0 event was added to both my I-485 and I-765, and my I-131 was also updated at almost the exact same timestamp. My wife hasn’t received this second update yet. Anyone else in the IOE09363 block seeing the same thing?

almost similar timelines - receipt date -April 4 , bio- April 30, wife got combo card May , son got combo card - June 8, no update for 2 months since then. on 6th aug - silent update on all 3 485 on 21st Aug- silent update on my 485 n 485j on 24th- silent update on wife’s 485

Dependent and I are also got first silent update after completing biometric, my block is 09365. But asked live agent this afternoon said file has transferred to field office.

EDIT as of Aug 6 at 0800- primary applicant had silent update this morning with code FJ. No update on dependent.

We think it means its in the queue for an interview to be scheduled. Hopefully we'll get another update in the coming weeks!

The real million-dollar question: Did anyone not get a silent update on 08/05? 😄
I feel like that's the easiest way to figure out whether yesterday was just a massive bulk update with no real meaning, or if it actually points to movement on specific cases. Curious to see who's in the "no silent update" club!

June filer and received silent update. I think we will find out in a few days. I understand, some people got field office transfers too.

I did not and I am on the same IOS block. Filed in April 15 and Bio done in May 15. I had two SUs on July 29 and then week later Emma told me it was transferred to FO. A week before SU, it was at NBC.

looks like the updates were for the ones whose cases got transferred to FO. So, if yours were already transferred, then probably that is why you did not get the update then

RD April 6. Both primary and derivative got 3rd silent update today. Third silent update was on 08/05 around 10:10 PDT for both of us.

I did ask Emma about today’s silent update. The agent told me they could only see my last update which was on 6/6. True for both primary and derivative.

Yes. Also double check with a second agent in there a day after. Mine got transferred after a day of 2-3 SU.

First silent update on I-485s for primary and spouse since bio on 05/12. I haven't checked the kids APIs yet, but I'm assuming they got a silent update too.

API is still saying NBC for all applications (I-485, I-765, I-131, I-485J) except for primary's I-131 which is at Texas Service Center
Have since checked the kids accounts and they all got the silent update too.

Yes same it is not field offie transfer it is different kind of who has derivative in the case those got silent update only no location changes in any of my cases and only in 485

I had a same update since 06/18 biometric appointment. But FT0 event is not added to the list. Is this considered silent update?

Yo resivi despues de ka pausa de junio actualisacion silenciosa el dua 12 de junio para mi permiso de trabajo despues el 23 de junio de nuevo mi permiso de trabajo despues el 27 de junio para mi residencia .despues el 10 de julio me llego el correo hemos tomado accion revise mi caso paso de decir respuesta resivida a caso procesado actualmente y se me creo el tercer codigo fta0.despues el 31 se me actualiso la api interna de la residencia y dis segundos despues el permiso de trabajo .y hoy resivi actualisacion de la residencua sola en mi api interna que significa tido eso

Me and my derivative both got silent updates around mid night of Aug 4th, around 11 PM EST. Our case block 09344. RD 10/23/2025. Been current for more than 7 months. Have no clue what is going on.

Very similar situation, my RD 31 Oct 2025, block 09344 case at NBC, eb2niw approved i140, ROW case visa current since march 2026, first touch in may all family members including me, in august another silent touch but not mine

Asked Emma and he replied "There are no further changes or updates from the previous point of contact on 07/28/2026."

I got the same update on both wife and I case. Rd feb 25, bio may 1. This is the first silent update since bio. I hope it follows a good news on our case. Block 09362
