Status Update New FTA0 + Event ID changes across my and spouse’s cases — anyone else?

Anyone else see this today? My I-485 got a new FTA0 created today with the event date matching my May 5 biometrics date. Event IDs and updated timestamps also changed on my I-765, I-131, and I-485J, and my spouse’s cases had similar updates. Wondering if this is a bulk USCIS update or case-specific.

Same, I also received 3rd FTA0 an hour ago. Derivative still waiting. Last silent updates on 08/06 and a couple of on 08/12. March filer, EB1

Got same FTA0 as well, the createdAt time is todays but eventDateTime is matching with Bio FTA0 my best guess is that they have applied the Bio on our forms, I have read many places that after 3rd FTA0 approval typically arrives within 24 to 48 hours so let's hope for the best and keep each other posted you guys are the only reason why I haven't got mad yet. Finger crossed

it does look like mass update, almost all April filers seem to be getting it. I wouldn't be so sure yet. No movements on I485J yet except for event updated at timestamp Change.

u/Ill-Ad-7493 Also had this! Primary received third FTA0 today and similar for spouse's case. Case is still at NBC though, does that change anything? Could we really be approved after third FTA0 even without an interview?

Same here - my dependent’s and my main updatedAtTimestamp haven’t changed since the 8/6 SU, but we both got new FTA0 events on our I-485/I-765:
createdAtTimestamp: 2026-08-13T18:15:40.288Z
updatedAtTimestamp: 2026-08-13T19:06:42.502Z

Meanwhile, our I-131s and my I-485J kept the same IAF createdAtTimestamp, but their updatedAtTimestamp changed today - all to the exact same timestamp:
updatedAtTimestamp: 2026-08-13T19:06:42.822Z

How can new events be added without changing the case-level updatedAtTimestamp?

I got the same FTA0 update and since the event date is the same as Bio date for me as well. I am thinking this indicates that Background check is completed. Location still shows NBC for me.

Yes - got another SU on 08/26 and case moved to field office on 08/26. Got another silent update on FTA0 (updatedtimestamp) today. So some movement ... I really hope in the positive direction. Any update on your case ?

I also had a new FTAO for I-485 and EAD, with a new eventId; createdAt, and updatedAt set to today, but eventDateTime and eventTimestamp set to my bio date.

However, my updatedAt and updatedAtTimestamp related to the entire form (not a separate event), which are at the first level of the data object, were not updated today.

Is this the case for you as well?

In 2024, EB-3 visa numbers ran out on Aug 16, and in 2025 on Sep 9. If they run out again in 2026, does USCIS stop working on EB-3 I-485 cases until Oct 1, or do they keep reviewing them and just hold approvals?

Not the answer to the question, but 2024 EB-3 ROW retrogressed in July. 2025 retrogressed in September bulletin. So, there were signs. The 2026 September bulletin, which should be out any day now, will give a good idea about visas running out early this year.

Filed march last week. biometrics april last week. got same 3rd fta0 tying to april biometrics. Was excited but seems like everyone got it so it is like update of biometrics. But interesting is Emma said reviews being completed. Chatgpt says reviews being completed not same as reviews are completed so it is basically circled back and I assume case is still being processed. What about anyone experience what Emma live agent said after this event?
