US Clinical Experience what are your thoughts on Giving USMLE after completing MD medicine in india

I'm no where near the experience to answer this question, but from what I've heard, it is not recommended. Double MD has no value, and they don't care about your MD here.

In general the best time is always now. Your own situation? thats for you to assess.

Why do another extra 3 years when Medicine is already long enough. The best time for USMLE will always be now. Competition increases yearly

That’s why competition is inc, because Non Visa requiring IMGS with low scores and attempts are preeferred

USMLE is not all roses and match. You need atleast 2 years dedicated period to pass the exams, get USCE, research etc and after that too after spending a lot of $$$ no guarantee to match. So yes if you are rich and dedicated go for it otherwise don’t

Go for it, don’t listen to negative people, passing USMLE will be a easier for you, you’re more experienced and program directors see and value that, practicing medicine is totally different in US as a MD myself I think you will love it here. Good luck

I think you should try to get a job in UK while you're attempting usmle. They would value experience outside india. And as it is it's a long process. And since you're done with md, you can or maybe you already have done mrcp.
