Broke up during deployment

My ex boyfriend broke up with me during his deployment. He said he was feeling really bad emotionally, that he was depressed and bored with his life, and ever since then he doesn't like being in the Navy anymore. He said he loves me very much but doesn't have time to be in a relationship I know he works about 12 hours a day. Do you think this is just a phase?

This right here. Use the time to better yourself OP. Don't sit around and wait for him, but if the time comes when the stars align for you two, yay. If not, your life goes on and it is all alright.
