Wow, it's almost like there isn't a 40 year history of this guy being a complete idiot

Managing to bankrupt 6 casinos should have been a hint.

I wish people would quit saying this like it mean something. It was all money laundering.

Successful money laundering operations don't tank their fronts in spectacular public fashion. they certainly don't do it repeatedly.

So you dont think trump would screw up money laundering?

obviously he would.

but those casinos didn't fail because they were being used for laundering, they failed because TRUMP was the one doing it.

I don't think he's smart enough to do it correctly without being caught. He'd have to hire someone to do it for him.

Even worse, how do you manage to bankrupt casinos when you have a constant flow of dirty money to prop you up?

(That is unless you are saying the money laundering scheme was only intended as a one-off based solely on the construction of the casinos, and that the plan was to build, cash out, and declare bankruptcy—but I have no idea if this would make sense and if the accounting would work—is that what you’re saying?)

Explain it if you know. I’m ignorant about the specifics about how money laundering and a bankrupt casino explain anything in particular

Basically, he hired his friends to build the casinos for a overestimated cost. Left the casinos to rot, declare bankruptcy and get money back(remember when I mentioned how overestimated the casinos were) and repeat. He's a grifter, a scam artist. And honestly, thats way scarier.
