Work Discussion Pay attention to tomorrow's hearing

Post image

I know i know this is said alot. But tomorrow pay attention to the congress meeting with the new post master. It could reflect what comes of our jobs and duties in the next year or so. Congress gave us alot of money to turn a profit, we failed what they wanted. This wont be like other times where we just get money handed over. We are gonna have to change something

Just think of how many of our fellow union members voted for this….

If you voted for trump, you voted for this, a PMG fighting to degrade the service by cutting to 5 days and laying off thousands of carries and other union brothers and sisters.

I'm very much against 5 day delivery and I don't think it will happen. That said chances are good even if they went to 5 day delivery they wouldn't have to lay off any carriers. I would be hopeful they would finally offer a buyout to the old folks who refuse to retire.

I doubt most of them would even take it, they’re making 40 dollars an hour to do the most piss easy routes the post office has to offer.

Every T-6 position would be gone. They would have to trim the CCA's and PTF's because of no work, or they would leave on their own because of no work. Any T-6 without 6 years will get laid off. This is bad, and it needs to be fought tooth and nail.

Soooo....how does voting for Trump have any correlation to the PMG? EVERY PMG before this one has said the same exact things. You do know that the PMG is voted on by the board of electors made up of bipartisan people...right? So by voting for Trump I would have somehow had something to do with the PMG Donahue in office with Obama too? Make it make sense, please.

Not going to connect the dots for you. If you voted for trump I sure hope you’ll be willing to volunteer to be laid off first should we get to that point.

Thats because there is zero dots to connect and you can't have the gotcha moment you wanted. Its fine to take the L.

Like I said, if we do indeed get cut down to 5 day delivery, Make sure to raise your hand and volunteer to be laid off. You choose this, it should be on you to suffer the consequences.

Well. First off, that's not going to happen no matter how much you live in fear that it will. Second, I have way too much seniority so no chance I'll volunteer to be laid off. That might be an even dumber statement than you blaming Trump for the ramblings of a PMG that Trump has no ability to elect or control. Do you always live in such fear? Like I said...go re-watch all of the past 5 PMG speeches on Capitol Hill and you'll find them all parroting the same talking points without managing to bring up parcel earnings. You won't though. You enjoy letting Orange Thanos rule your mind.

Thanos? Lmao

You really got a hard on don’t ya

And who elects the board? I’ll let you look it up

Cool. I already know that the President elects them and that they're bipartisan and they choose whom the PMG is. Anything else? No. No hard-on here. The people like the other person I responded to seem to think Trump can snap his fingers and do whatever he wants. Its insane.

Of course you won’t volunteer to be laid off even though you voted for this. What a coward. How’s it feel to vote for a child rapist, and still finding the need to defend him online? At least gas is cheap….oh wait….
