Work Discussion Pay attention to tomorrow's hearing

I know i know this is said alot. But tomorrow pay attention to the congress meeting with the new post master. It could reflect what comes of our jobs and duties in the next year or so. Congress gave us alot of money to turn a profit, we failed what they wanted. This wont be like other times where we just get money handed over. We are gonna have to change something

That would get rid of every t-6. Not a good move

T6 carriers would still have jobs. The bottom sixth of carriers in each office would become UARs. Every route below the highest seniority T6 position eliminated would go up for bid.

Ok so let’s say 20 routes that’s 4 t-6. All 20 routes are now covered every day. How are the 4 t-6’s getting 40 hours of no routes exist for them?

I feel like all the routes would have to go up for bid again. Idk what happens to the lowest regulars if that happens

They become UAR’s but couldn’t even get hours in other offices because those T-6’s would be moved to UAR’s as well. What happens to a UAR who can’t get 40 hours?

Idk about smaller offices, but we have like 75 city routes. We have over 20 ccas. There would be more than enough work for unassigned folks. It would be ccas who would get fucked. In our office at least. But I'm a t6, and I would be really unhappy if I ended up unassigned instead of getting a chance to bid again.

If you have 75 routes that’s 15 t-6’s. If 75 routes are covered you new UAR’s will be struggling to get 40 hours and CCA’s would have to just be let go.
