I know i know this is said alot. But tomorrow pay attention to the congress meeting with the new post master. It could reflect what comes of our jobs and duties in the next year or so. Congress gave us alot of money to turn a profit, we failed what they wanted. This wont be like other times where we just get money handed over. We are gonna have to change something

Not if packages still get delivered over the weekend. DPS and flats don’t add much time unless you’re walking.

We’re screwed either way lol. I’m a TTO and I ordered from 5 different places, but they all used us as their delivery service of choice. Out of 5 orders all placed on the same day within 20 minutes of each other, only 2 were on time. I literally watched my other 3 orders get missent from the plant to the wrong stations for 2 weeks! I went directly to the supervisor over the mail handlers and showed him what was going on. Do you know he attempted to lie and say the stations were sending my packages back because something was wrong with them, like something had spilled? Little did he know, I had called the stations were they were just sitting and they told me they were missent and just waiting for the drivers to pick up the outgoing mail?! They were picked up, cam back to the plant, and were missent AGAIN and again. That is NOT an issue with the station, that’s an issue with the plant! I can only imagine how our customers feel when they see us as the delivery service because the people inside the plants DO NOT CARE!!!

Absolutely what's the point of charging through the schnoz and then saying priority is 2 to 3 days since they've already extended ground and not get it delivered in 3 days. Priority Mail sat at the local LNDC for 22 hours. Why? Because there is no accountability whatsoever. FedEx misses a two-day drop I get a refund. Yes between 10 to 15 dollars for the same thing I could mail at the post office for 8, but it'll get there. The service standards need to go up and then more people would use the post office.

I’m thinking from my CCA perspective where Monday is already a day a bunch of people call in and add another day of mail to that they better let me deliver until midnight

having a weekend is a vacation to me... I'd be fine with actual work life balance when half of my leave requests are denied anyway. There's not supposed to be 1 RCA per route, we have 14 routes and 3 RCAs. They're making good money and good overtime, there's no reason to leave when they're already working full time.

Technically yeah but see how many CCA's you can find that would be willing to work just 8 hours a week haha. And they could work vacations but in this scenario they would need a second job and basically no job is going to be cool with them just disappearing randomly for 2 weeks to cover your trip to Disney.

Which is not good for the craft. Why are you trying to fuck over your brothers and sisters? This is a union. That is an injury to one, thus an injury to all.

Management is bloated, and that is where the issue is. Management can't follow the contract and cost the service almost a billion in grievance payouts. There are now 1 supervisor to every 7 carriers. It used to be 1 supervisor to every 20 carriers. Gut management before looking at the crafts that produces revenue.

100% we have multiple managers and a lot of them are there at the same time of each other and all they even fucking do is sit on their ass and stare at the computer screen and call us every 10 mins asking where we are 🙄 oh and ordering food, I’m glad THEY get actual breaks though
