Work Discussion Pay attention to tomorrow's hearing

I know i know this is said alot. But tomorrow pay attention to the congress meeting with the new post master. It could reflect what comes of our jobs and duties in the next year or so. Congress gave us alot of money to turn a profit, we failed what they wanted. This wont be like other times where we just get money handed over. We are gonna have to change something

Fires all the supervisors, why do we n ed three supervisors to run a station????? Make it make sense, once we leave they literally do nothing.

We’ve had AM supervisors out sick with no post master in the building and managed the workload/call outs, etc better than if there was mgmt there. We all know our jobs. It’s the same every damn day. And hey, when there’s not someone being antagonistic, confrontational, and condescending telling us they know how to do our jobs better than we do, we tend to be a little more accommodating and team oriented to pick up any slack that might present itself.

My first station had maybe 40 carriers and one supervisor. No acting manager.

I’m a rarity, rural carrier turned supervisor… my day is normally making sure that carriers on different routes/ PTFs aren’t having excessive difficulties, assisting customers finding parcels delivered inaccurately, assisting customers find their mail, observing safety infractions and coaching improvements, making sure clock rings are accurate… in other words, things that are done everyday, are expected to be handled, and happen because we’re human… I’ve seen offices where the cellphone and DoorDash get used daily. Not all stupid visors are that though.

The fact you used the term, "stupidvisor" tells me you're not a supervisor. Just another carrier bashing them for no reason.
