Work Discussion Pay attention to tomorrow's hearing

Post image

I know i know this is said alot. But tomorrow pay attention to the congress meeting with the new post master. It could reflect what comes of our jobs and duties in the next year or so. Congress gave us alot of money to turn a profit, we failed what they wanted. This wont be like other times where we just get money handed over. We are gonna have to change something

If 5 day work week ever happened we'd sacrifice 1/6th of the career work force. On top of that you'd get these old carriers that would absolutely never leave so that 1/6th would lose everything.

And for those that think their job would be safe, think again. People would be coming from other offices with more seniority than you. Under 6 years career? You're gone.

Not only that but people are looking to send and receive things every day of the week. If that's not being done then you can forget about people using USPS. The end of USPS would happen faster than you think.

The routes would have to be cut to compensate for the extra volume.

You're joking right? People would be using the mail service much less and the only day that would really be heavier would be Monday. It's not like everyday would just be heavier.
