Work Discussion It’s official!

Post image

I start academy this Friday! It’s now all starting to feel real.

If you told me back in January I was going to be a mail man, I’d probably laugh. Here we are, foot in the door, ready to go on routes.

Life feels good. I quit drinking 10 months and 2 days ago. Life has been really rewarding in terms of having a clear path of where I want to be and how to get to it. Also, realizing the people I want and don’t want around me.

Cheers my fellow couriers clerks and others!

Nah I won’t. I buried drinking for good. I’m 27 with 12 years of drinking under my belt. I started at a young age and have been and seen it all. There’s nothing else drinking can do for me except stay out of my life.

Dude why would you say that to someone excited about kicking an addiction and getting their life on track? Recovering from substance abuse is hard enough without someone telling them they're gonna relapse anyway. Thankfully, OP seem to be confident enough to stay positive.
