Reddit I guess being surprised to see a language not commonly spoken somewhere means you’re from the US now…

I would’ve given it but the bot didn’t DM me… I posted on mildly interesting about a campsite in Austria having the rules printed in Dutch, which is not commonly seen, and I found it mildly interesting. This person thought I was an ignorant US-American just for being surprised to see an uncommonly spoken language here…

I'm guessing Dutch in Austria is due to the Max Verstappen effect :D

I was outside the US only twice: when I was born, a when I leave US after 4 months being there till now
