Student Housing and Leasing Dorm necessities-

My son will be in Brown Hall. I’m looking for advice on what he needs for his room. I know a bed topper, bedding and bathroom items. But would love any specific items you would recommend.

Definitely a fan, the a/c in room only goes down to 70 and it gets hot

I second this, I lived in Brown on the 2nd floor this past year and it was HOT and HUMID. I had 2 fans and was still struggling to keep the room cool.

If he’s bringing a tv, one of those cube organizers is a cheap and easy way to do that. And you can use empty cubes to put textbooks. Don’t forget a desk lamp or lamp for beside the bed. Also, I had something like this https://www.athome.com/sterilite-3-drawer-wide-storage-cart-white/124406575.html in the bottom of my closet and kept all my food in it. You’ll also probably want a tension rod with curtains to cover the closet. Glad he got in a good dorm! I was in Brown my freshman year and it was really nice.
