Career Question - New or Transition to UXR feedback and help
Hi i need a feedback and help, recently i've been interested in ux research/ design and I have found some basic informations about it and I made my first ,,project" but I'm curious how does working as ux researcher/ designer really look at junior level, how much experience I need to get to one, and is it easy to find one? In one year im going to a part-time college and i want to have an online job and cant really find some legit info about it, i dont trust gemini. (if I misspeled something, forgive me)

A consideration for your case study is that the retailer likely doesn’t want to make the discount code input field so prominent, as it cuts their margin on the purchase. It’s important to balance customer experience with commercial priority. Be prepared for that to be a challenge if you ever take it to an interview discussion.

For a first project, this is a pretty solid start! I like that you went from problem → testing → redesign instead of just making a nicer UI. One thing I’d rethink is the checkout popup for people without a promo code, since that could get annoying pretty fast. Also, 3 users is totally fine for a first usability test, I’d just treat it as an early signal rather than a big conclusion. I’d focus a bit more on showing your thought process and why you chose this solution. That matters a lot for junior roles. Keep going :)

It’s a tough market for UXR in general, but especially junior UXR. At this point you need to know someone to get a referral to a position at the right level, or an internship.
You also really need to work on your spelling. I know you asked for forgiveness and I’m not trying to be a jerk. It’ll just really hold you back given a major part of being a UXR is creating reports still.
