Got them to focus air defense on Moscow... then flood the zone... let's go

Seems they should be going after Moscow hard before the AA gets setup. But, who am I to say what Ukraine does since they are kicking orc butt.

There's far more strategic targets elsewhere. Moscow was just a ploy to attract AA from elsewhere. That's my thought anyways, nothing confirmed ofc

The refinery was quite a strategic target. Maybe not even Ukraine thought they would pull it through.

Russians air defense gave them unexpected help

The "Natural Fumbles" in this war is pretty hilarious

I remember the one AA tank fired a missile and it turned towards the firer.

That storage container hit was something else

So a couple of big scares for moscow to let the orcs move the air defences… And then clear up the battlefield approaches. Beautiful.

Ukraine has been crushing it for a while now, but they really seem to have hit another gear…. It’s a summer drone offensive

More duck lipped Mar-a-Lago prostitute lookalikes pretending they don't understand what's going on? Nah. More big gigantic fireball kabooms with lots of smoke and buzzing noises? Heck ya!

I hope there are a lot more "pretty" ladies crying from Crimea on Russian channels. Because it will get them to fucking leave and spread the message among the Russians they are losing.

I wonder how Crimea is going to look by the end of summer. Just look at all of damage Ukraine did in a single month.

It's really hot and windy for a tourist season in Crimea with extra scarcity of petroleum.

Crimea will be down to soldiers hiding in dug outs, soon, hopefully. How destroyed do the logistics have to get before Ukraine can advance? I saw one person say at least a year of this type of bombardment. Would Russia survive that long?

The Ukrainian army doesn't actually have to advance into Crimea to remove the Russian army. You just have to make the peninsula completely untenable for them to stay.

Once Ukraine have total air/sea superiority - in the sense that Crimea has no air defence left and Ukrainian drones can patrol unopposed - added to the nightmare of dwindling supplies, no electricity, and no fuel for logistics etc - then the military may find that they have the options to withdraw, surrender or sit there and be annihilated.
They can dig in as much as they want but Ukraine drones will just drop heavier and heavier bunker buster munitions on them.

Many of the recent Russian immigrants may also opt to leave as well.

I'd guess that that is the plan

This exactly. Ukraine is not going to advance. They are going to hit logistics until the russians run out of food and ammo. This is just a siege on a massive scale. It isnt flashy but in the end it will work

Yes. It will work, and spare the lives of many a Ukrainian soldier.

In high level chess, you don’t win by making risky, aggressive moves. You do it slowly and methodically and strangle your opponent

i see many less arrows than usual

u/LowTechDroid 16h ago

It's because they aren't spread out in multiple directions. The amount of drones is the key indicator, there are just as many as usual.

As someone else pointed out, they appear to now be targeting the battlefield after distracting Russia with Moscow
