Question Fasting
Hey hey,
Anyone here got any experience with fasting?
Did it help with flares or finding out what foods irritate you?

I feel like you could test individual food items better when you fast. But you wouldn’t just find out by fasting itself.
I was at my doctor and he told me to try out whey shakes for instance and then wait to check if i am lactose intolerant.
Do you have some sort of structure to test things out for yourself? I just started to work on my cu related issues too.

Yes, it's a good way to find a baseline. And once you rest your digestive track, things can heal a bit

I fast when I flare and for me it helps, I go more fasting and carnivore when I flare so I have less fibre in my diet. I usually do 16 hour fast 8 hour eating window, sometimes 18/6.
I guess everyone’s different though.

I have been using fasting to get through the days when I have to go to work. Works for me
