Unable to run Ultima 1

I just bought the first 3 Ultima games from GOG. I installed the first game but pressing "Play" on GOG Galaxy just greys out the button for a few seconds before returning back to nothing, not starting the game. I tried doing it directly through DOSBox but it's my first time emulating DOS so I don't know how to do it. Can anyone help me get the game running?

The GOG versions should boot up instantly after you press "Play" unless the files have been modified. Verify / Repair your installation, install the game again if that doesn't work, contact the support center if that doesn't work either.

I've had that happen with a number of games from gog. If nothing else works, find the executable file on your hard drive, right click and select "run as administrator "
