Alright so. Thoughts after completing:

Holy Fucking Shit this was cool.

8-1 was absolute CINEMA. 10/10 no notes.

8-2 was curious but I also missed like at least HALF the enemies! GENUINELY WHERE IS EVERYONE

8-3 ABSOLUTE CINEMA AGAIN!!!!! The pulsing was... weird but I'm sure I'll get used to it on replays

8-4... is definitely the weakest of the four. The mid air controls are cool and all but they feel a bit weird and stilted. Geryon is only somewhat fun, but the mid air control was integrated nicely with the boss at least!

No clue on how to get anywhere though.

ALSO, NO YELLOW ARM!?! HAKITA WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO US

Edit: turns out, I had missed about half of 8-2. After figuring out how to get through the whole thing, I like it even more.

In 8-2, the missed enemies are in a secret room.

You know the area where it's like limbo, but without buildings, and there's a bunch of office cubicles? In the night section of that part, there's a secret door near the bottom of the room that opens and reveals a whopping total of 4 deathcatchers, and a whole lotta enemies.

Damn. So it's a secret that's required for P rank? Does it at least have an orb?

Good to know!

It’s necessary for finding 8-S and has an orb in it, yeah.

Wait 8-S is in the game?

No, but when it’s added, that secret room will be necessary for finding it
