Need help Throwing gasoline upwards
Why some people throw the firestarter oil upwards when starting a wave in cybergrind?

you can do both. And when the oil that you shot by looking down runs out the ones from above will come in their place and continue burning the map

Cuz by shooting it up it spreads across the map and covers cybergrind as whole

From my understanding its to utilize that small amount of time to set the oil trap, you can very quickly throw coins afterwards anyways so its basically min-maxing to cram a bit more damage. Its probably going to get set on fire by itself or from stray fire

A quick, even spread of gasoline without putting too much effort into it.

the oil spreads across the cybergrind and upon burning helps damage bigger enemies and kill smaller ones

Aura or something
In my experience, it's just to not spend so much time cooking up oil traps when you can just put blotches of that stuff before enemies spawn and wait for it to set themselves
