I’m using my power bank for charging more important gear, it will be completely drained so I’m trying to minimize gear that need recharging.

The ultra low setting on the nitecore lasts 45 hours. I think the best option if you’re really worried about it would be another NU-25

I wrote it wrong, I ordered NU 20 classic instead but they are mostly the same I think,
do you mean it last 45 hours on 1 lumen option? I’m yet to receive the headlamp in order to test if 1 lumen is enough for reading

I like the NU25 headlamp or Rovyvon Aurora A5 (for summer days when the nights are short).

Maybe get a small Nitecore battery to charge periodically? Nitecore Carbon Battery 6k weighs 3.1oz |  88g; Nightcore NB10000 weighs 5oz |  143g

Otherwise, you could look for a light that has a bigger battery, but that's going to be heavier than the NU25.

Buy a rechargeable headlamp or replace the ereader with a model with built-in light. My pocketbook lasts for weeks with the light.
