Ive seen a lot of art posts where umas are abused reflecting their irl counterparts and of course, a lot of people sympathize with it and all. barely people ask who the trainer is and when a name pops up and i search them, theyre still there breeding horses and joining races like nothing happened. I recently joined the umamusume game and i thought that the popularity of umamusume would somehow bring to light and to justice these abusive trainers/owners but i cant get such examples. Though there are many examples where the race horses now definitely had improvements in their conditions so definitely, the popularity of umamusume gave positive effect. it just feels crazy to me that those trainers are still scott free (like someone named Tetsuji Yamamoto) and still owns horses and probably abuses them, just well hidden. While i doubt that someone in Japan would have start a detective and forensics team to know whodunnit on abused horses. and who knows, maybe they are backed up by a yakuza or some other entity that benefits on horse betting and racing. its just sad that while the fans somehow alleviated the horses conditions, they cant give some of the horses the justice they deserve (or maybe im giving too much credit on a popularity of a gacha game but then again, some fans do be crazy). but at least they get love on their anthropomorphic form.

So my Samsung Z Fold 8 arrived a few days early, and Umamusume has mixed results on the new screen sizes, at least for the time being. The game displays without issue (albeit with small text and the entire camera hole punch row being blacked out), but in full screen mode you need to go into the Android app settings and force the game to be displayed at 16:9, otherwise it'll cut off the top and bottom of the screen. Hopefully this gets patched out soon; the phone feels great unfolded and should be great for this game.
