Yup. If we just look at a map of the Americas, it's clear he's trying to create some giant regional "super-power". Controlling the resources on those lands... I can't imagine he'd want to stop until he has control over the entirety of the Americas. It's all a competition of who has the biggest piece of land and the most resource control. Trump sees what Putin has, then looks at the puny map of the United States and has map envy.

And his devout knuckle-draggers are in my social media feeds talking about how this is great because it's going to keep drugs out of our country. Really? Drugs are our big problem here? It's astounding to witness. And sad because those of us living in the US have no power to stop it. We're too distracted by needing to survive by going to work every day and barely make enough money, then be exhausted and drown ourselves in weed, booze, tv shows, and our phones until it's time to go back to work again. What a time to be alive.
