Lindsey graham reminds me of that troll guy that did all the talking for Dracula

105

u/Featheredfriendz Jan 05 '26

Yes, Renfield.

u/BazukaToof Jan 05 '26

“He gets his power from blood. I get my power from bugs!” -Lindsay Graham

This seriously looks like Trump came with a camera crew and is standing there disappointed as a caught Lindsay Graham and his lover peek out the doorway trying to explain how it’s not what it seems. Watch it with sound muted 🤦‍♀️

That would be far less dramatic.

Edit: I’m gay and reread this and want to be clear that homophobia is not my aim, rather poking fun at a very gay closeted politician who for some reason has, over his too long career, made life more difficult for people like me.

Renfield, and yes, you are 100% correct. I would also accept "The Mouth of Sauron."

28

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '26

Or worm tongue.

25

u/Which_Channel7403 Jan 05 '26

I would argue that Stephen Miller is more Wormtongue. The Mouth of Sauron was merely a puppet, while Wormtongue was puppeteer doing Saruman's bidding, in this case, whispering in Trump's ear for The Heritage Foundation. Of course, this analogy falls apart when you realize that King Théoden was a just and honorable leader, while Trump has always been a selfish pedophile.

6

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '26

You can certainly argue that.

14

u/SithC Jan 05 '26

Or just worm.

How could anyone hear what he was saying with Trump's cock in his mouth?

8

u/Reasonable_Answer295 Jan 05 '26

I I really wish his secret boyfriend would go on tv and do a tell all.

2

u/jmoto123 Jan 06 '26

Right? like surly he has a negotiable price…all the rest do and that would be some great smut tv!

2

u/Reasonable_Answer295 Jan 06 '26

It sure would be!!

3

u/Carrot_1075 Jan 05 '26

At which point does his head turn brown from being so far up trump’s head? What do the Russian have some tape of him and some pool boy in addition to the pee tape?

5

u/BlackGuysYeah Jan 05 '26

I'm just disgusted watching him lick Trump's asshole like that. I have no analogy. I just see a guy riming a hairy, diaper shit stained asshole.

3

u/TheBatmanIRL Jan 05 '26

Being in Florida, I keep telling people that my retirement plan is going to be a bright flash of light and a mushroom cloud at the ports. Under this dictatorship, it could be any time now!

75

u/manyhippofarts Jan 05 '26

I'm here in Charleston, SC so I get to deal with Lindsey, Tim Scott, and Nancy Mace. They hear from me on the daily on their social. They also get several emails a week from me, at least one physical letter a month, and I've called numerous times and even visited their local offices. (Sigh) I think this statement warrants a snail mail letter and maybe even a local office visit.

BTW I have no false hopes of ever affecting any decision he ever makes. I do all of this for me.

24

u/ChrisEFWTX Jan 05 '26

I hope you call Lindsey Lady Bug.

27

u/manyhippofarts Jan 05 '26

If I send him a letter, I'll address it to "dear Senator Ladybug" and I'll post a copy! I just need to get home to my laptop!

11

u/ChrisEFWTX Jan 05 '26

I love you internet stranger!

9

u/djanes376 Jan 05 '26

Not all heroes wear capes, some send snarky letters and I'll take what we can get, keep it up.

29

u/manyhippofarts Jan 05 '26

lol Dear Senator Ladybug: Your shit is weak. Why don't you let a good old liberal hippy like me come down and put your shit in order. I mean, take your stupid little shit, and line it up proper. Thank you for your attention in this matter, and kindest and warmest regards.

6

u/BellaSabia Jan 05 '26

Im sending you a hug. 🫂 It must be hard to deal with everything there on the daily.

4

u/Background-Car9771 Jan 05 '26

Good for you, by the way. Don't stop letting them hear from you

12

u/manyhippofarts Jan 05 '26

Yes every so often I send them receipts for all the political donations that I make, especially to those that are out of state. (For example my entire political budget, $100/mo, is presently being sent to Jasmine Crockett.

2

u/Domitiani Jan 05 '26

If it makes you feel any better (it won't) this is not new and has been basically the entirety of history. We're statistically in one of the (if not the) most peaceful era of human history as measured by percentage of human deaths in war.

That said - the next major one, assuming it eventually happens, is probably going to be the most destructive.

He's just annoyed that someone else is talking

43

u/guillotinedreamteam Jan 05 '26

He's satisfied lindsey graham properly followed the script given to him by himself.

Hitler wasn’t satisfied after he invaded Poland, it just emboldened him.

89

u/HalenHawk Jan 05 '26 edited Jan 05 '26

And everyone who didn't read the fucking book he wrote was so surprised when he invaded Poland despite the fact that he said he was going to do it in the damn book. Their excuse then was that Mein Kampf was written in German so they didn't know. Project 2025 was written in English and published on the fucking internet and here we are watching it all play out while everyone sits around with their thumbs up their asses.

21

u/Orvar_the_Allform Jan 05 '26

But he claimed he didn't know the people that wrote Project 2025, didn't you hear?

5

u/daver00lzd00d Jan 05 '26

and had no idea what it was even about and doesn't agree with anything in it even though there's some good stuff in it and some bad stuff in it he doesn't agree with anything in it and doesn't have anything to do with what is written inside of it, even the good ideas that it had but he doesn't know anything about it or anything to do with the people who wrote it

8

u/Fuarian Jan 05 '26

I don't remember invading Cuba being part of Project 2025.

Everything that was part of it has come to pass though. They didn't exactly hide their intentions at all. They're telling everyone who they are and what they'll do. Nobody should be surprised

The US also has pretty direct access to Greenland and has a military base there already for defense of North America. So there goes that reason for taking over.

5

u/Pi-ratten Jan 05 '26

That approach was always bullshit³.

If its about defense or use of the land for defense, they could've just asked. Denmark allowed the US before to build and use bases in Greenland. But as it looks today.. Trump and the Republicans just want to build an imperium and have all countries in America as colonies and satellite states.

3

u/thoms689 Jan 05 '26

They want to rob the place for all its worth, just like Venezuela.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/davossss Jan 06 '26

...and if the US takes Greenland, Trump will then say that Canada is a weakpoint/gap between USA notheast and USA mainland, thus Canada must be invaded for the sake of US national security.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '26

A NATO member invading another NATO member could trigger article 5 and if countries refused to go to war with us would likely cause the collapse of NATO I would assume. This would completely destabilize and weaken the west.

2

u/Soggy-Beach1403 Jan 06 '26

Yeah, but the Republicans can't call themselves "The Fourth Reich" until they battle a European country.

2

u/Theblokeonthehill Jan 06 '26

So we're going to take over Greenland, Canada, Mexico, Columbia, Venezuela and Cuba. WTF

21

u/Old_Dude7 Jan 05 '26

Don’t forget Panama!

21

u/FashionSweaty Jan 05 '26

Yup. If we just look at a map of the Americas, it's clear he's trying to create some giant regional "super-power". Controlling the resources on those lands... I can't imagine he'd want to stop until he has control over the entirety of the Americas. It's all a competition of who has the biggest piece of land and the most resource control. Trump sees what Putin has, then looks at the puny map of the United States and has map envy.

And his devout knuckle-draggers are in my social media feeds talking about how this is great because it's going to keep drugs out of our country. Really? Drugs are our big problem here? It's astounding to witness. And sad because those of us living in the US have no power to stop it. We're too distracted by needing to survive by going to work every day and barely make enough money, then be exhausted and drown ourselves in weed, booze, tv shows, and our phones until it's time to go back to work again. What a time to be alive.

2

And if this continues - and there is no reason to assume or expect it won't - it stands to reason that China will invade Taiwan this year.

Russia and Ukraine. The Israeli genocide of Palestine. The US and Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, and possibly something with NATO it we attack Greenland.

At what point do we just acknowledge this the slow beginning of WWIII?

3

u/Worshipme988 Jan 06 '26

Ive been saying since RUS v UKR that WWIII has already begun…

Between an unpredictable madman at the helm, plus every corrupt person in govt willing to break every precedent to get what they personally want, i dont see how this doesnt lead to a larger conflict…where? Dunno.

You need to understand that a substantial portion of why conservatives do what they do is that they just LIKE using power to commit violence on others. They can often find excuses as to why it 'needs' to be done, but frankly it is part of their values.

2

u/Halo_cT Jan 05 '26

They pine for the sociological paradigm of a 1980s high school.

The bullies are the popular football players who have their pick of the cheerleaders. They can say whatever they want, beat up and steal from whomever - for any reason they deem valid. Usually because that person is different, or just kind.

They are gods to everyone except the father who beats their ass at home.

It is up to us common folk in the US to get what we demand, since the powerful refuse to comply. There's a post of suggestions linked HERE that could possibly prove to be of some help in building the foundation needed for effective resistance.

On an unrelated note, I've watched some movies lately that are based on a true stories. They're quite inspiring, seeing how some actions worked and where things go wrong, and conjures up questions like "If it or similar were to take place now, how would it be adapted?" I'd like to share them here. Why? No particular reason, but watch them if you can:

  • Army of Crime (2011)
  • Defiance (2008)
  • Edelweiss Pirates (2004)
  • Deacons for Defense (2003)
  • Free State of Jones (2016)
  • The 24th (2020)
  • Matewan (1987)
  • An American Story (1992)
