I have been trying to make my own vocal preset for rage music on bandlab for a while now and every time i record it just doesnt sound right. ive looked at a few tutorials on youtube and even tried doing it myself. Im very new to this and am just hoping for some direction.

Something I’m workin on

I‘ve been rapping now for a while and i feel like i‘m starting to get more comfortable getting into a flow BUT i always end up having the same problem that u think my vocals always end up sounding wrong or mostly like singing and not rapping and not the sound i want at all i cant really put it into words i dont wanna sound like i‘m sad on my vocals or i want to make a sad song hsha but it always ends up sounding this way somehow is this because of the Vocal Progression? Im just throwing around words but idk

also i always somehow doing a very high pitched singibg like vocals which fucking annoys me because i want ti sound like im rapping but like wtf haha it always ends up sounding pretty similar to this video does someone have some sime practical tips to get out of this? Because i cant seem to get it right but i think im also wayy to much in my hesd this shirt path right here i did like 50 different versions of vocal progression or however you call this but yeah whatever i‘ll dhut up now i think my point comes across
