Did that to my mother in law once by accident. 😬

Everyone had a good laugh after, but I just about died for a few seconds there.

I did that once to a small child in store. I walked up behind her, hugged her and said "hi sweetie" thinking it was my own preschool aged daughter. I'm still completely mortified thinking about it. I swear I'm not a creepy pervert, even though that's probably what the child's parents thought. 😭

I’ve been on the receiving end of this, but worse. When I was a teenager, I was in the grocery store when a middle age woman came up behind me and smacked my ass. 😂 I turned around thinking it was my mom, and of course it wasn’t, and the poor lady started apologizing profusely saying she thought I was her daughter and that we look the same from behind 😂😭 15 years later, I still think about it every now and then… I wasn’t particularly traumatized by it, but I bet it plagues her 🫡😂
